Raptor 350 vs 300EX vs 400EX
#1
Well it looks like Dirt Wheels dissed Yamaha again, placing the Raptor 350 in last place again, thought I would never had expected it to come close to the 400 EX, I can't understand why Dirt Wheels even tested a 400 EX against the other two, I guess everthing else in its class smokes it so they can only test it against smaller cc quads. But really they complained more about the Raptor 350 than they did the Warrior last year. The old Warrior could smoke a 300EX, so now all of a sudden the Raptor 350 being lighter, better susspended, more power, better rider position, and the 300EX could keep up with it? Whats up with that? I know the 300EX being lighter was easyer to ride than the Warrior, but they must of had a schmo riding the Raptor.

I know, mabe I'm just a disgruntaled Warrior owner, because we get no respect. The magazines always diss this bike like its justa piece of garbage. Anywere I go I see at least 2 or more Warriors riding.

man i don't know what is wrong with these magazines, last month the 300ex beat the rap350 in atv action.Look at this the rap350 is lighter by 2 pounds, has more power, suspension and handling are about the same on both.So someone explain how the 300ex keeps beating it,i do like the 300ex,but the raptor 350 is alot better IMO.If you got the july and august issue of atv action look at the star ratings for the rap 350 in both.

Ok I knew somone would mention the YFZ 450, but besides that bike, DW has complained just about everything Yamaha had to offer including the Banshee. For years Dirt Wheels and ATV Action has kissed Hondas ace. I think it almost hurt them to give the 450R second place to the YFZ.

Also the ads have nothin to do with the magazine, the manufacturers advertizing department pays big bucks for all the advertizing you see in the magazines, the magazines could care less who graces the advertizing pages of there magazine, just as long as they get paid.
