all of you need to grow up. the warrior was one of the best selling atvs for a reason. give the 400ex some credit, it kind of sparked the high performance atv era. I say take your pick between the yfz and the 450r, do you like low end, or high end. and a starter is a starter, wether it be a kick or electric it gets you going deosn't it? just stop fighting!

 

I had a Warrior before I got my DVX and I loved it and still do. I could go anywhere on it. In my opinion it was the ultimate trail bike. I bet the Raptor 350 is even better, how could someone not like it?

 

Very true, Dont even bother paying attention to magazines they only promote the people that promote them or pay them. Thats the way the business world works. Just hop on the quad you think you like and if you like it buy it, simple as that. Thats what i did and i couldnt be happier. Dirt wheels ripped on the banshee in the "Banshee vs DS650" article yet the banshee has been smoking the compitition for what, almost 2 decades? I bet the ds wont be around 20 years from now. Not that the ds is a bad quad ive never ridden one so i wouldnt know, But when a quad with less than 1/2 the engine displacement can beat it thats kinda sad.

 

I used to kind of own a warrior a while back. I dont know what it was but I really hated riding that thing, the only think I liked about it was you could put it in reverse no matter what gear you where in. Mine had some kind of oiling problem and the motor would sieze up about every 6 months. Never figured out the oiling problem and it is now siting at the original owners house tore apart for about the 5th time in 5 years. I think it was just a lemon, I have seen many warriors not have any problems at all.

And Devin246, Dirtwheels and their sand shoot out without paddles was about the best article I have seen, almost as good as the Raptor 350, 300ex, 400ex shoot out. If you think that a stock banshee will beat a stock ds you need to go race one. I think the only thing that wont beat a stock banshee is a warrior. lol. Stock banshees are turds. I know I had a couple of them, and let me tell you they didnt stay stock for more that a week or so.

 

I'm not ripping the 400 EX, it deffinetly did kick off the 4 stroke high performance quad era,alls Handa needs to do is add reverse, and this quad will probably be around for at least ten years. Remember before the Z400 all you heard about was the 400EX in magazines. I just think the Warrior should get a little more credit, it served there owners well for a lot of years, and still sold well right to the end, even in an era full of high performance quads.

 

Yup, yet another biased shootout by Dirtwheels. They are really starting to **** me off! Last month they gave the Raptor 350 a great review saying they liked everything about it and that it was a great improvement over the Warrior. Now they bring it in a shootout with there only positive Honda opinions. All they said about the Yamaha was how bad it did and what needs to be improved from stock, why didn't they mention this in the first review?! Isn't that was a review is for?! They also said the 400ex beat the Yamaha by 10 bike lengths! How freakin exadurated is that? I've never seen a 400ex beat anything by that much, good lord they arn't that fast! I just might have to get a subscription to another mag to get unbiased opinions, with a mag that doesn't base its opinions on how much money they get from one company or another. Jeez! Thats just my 2 cents.

 

I got a raptor 350 bout 4 week ago, i live in nicaragua and use it on the beach and offroad racing. i raced a friend's stock warrior twice and beat him... also raced this guys blastes almost fully moded that dose motocross on it, i really thought i was gonna loose but i beat him 3 times... on da start i left him behin bout 1 atv space and then goin up the gears i got much more distance till bout 4 atv spaces average for the 3 races we did. overall ive seen the raptor 350 a grat atv to have fun and also get serious peformance. it could beat a blaster in any condition and a warrior aswell bout a 400ex, ive never raced 1 but it cant leave it as far back as tehyve said it did maybe wit a begginer rider but a raptor350 stock vs a 400ex stock would be a kikass of a race.
