ATVs in the snow
#2
You would have to check your local laws to know for sure. After a big storm in my hometown, I see ATV's with plows running up and down the highways. I always ride mine 5 miles on the highway to plow my old man's driveway and I have never been bothered by the Police....yet.

They plow very well. The only time I have had a problem is with very deep wet heavy snow. It takes a bit longer but I have always been able to get the drives cleared. Also have a problem getting down to the pavement if that wet heavy snow has frozen and there is an inch of ice on the pavement.

but in the pa dcnr atv/snowmobile law thinger it says you can ride during a period of emergency decided by the local jurisdiction-does this just mean an emergency like a heat attack or a snow emergency?
