whats all around better for mx Blaster or 300EX
#2
Well goin into MX most ppl plan on really modding the he!! out of there quads and for this reason i would prolly go with the blaster. It responds better to mods and especially to port & polish work, 240 kits, ect ect... Stock the 300ex might take a blaster around the track but i cant say from first hand experience. i can say however that its been my experience that the 300 has better stock handeling, slides better, and feels better to jump and throw around the track. but when they are modded the blaster would prolly suite u better for MX. Thats not sayin that u couldnt easily make the 300 keep up with a blaster around the track, it just might take a lil more cash.

Stock the 300ex no doubt, but modded out? That is a good question, Im sure it would depend on rider style. Im used to 4-strokes with quads on the track but 2-strokes with dirt bikes on the track. So I dont know what I would be faster on, I do like how light the blaster is, I was jmping one on a 20ft double and it was fun because you could throw it around in the air like a dirtbike.

A blaster is better for mx because the snap of a two stroke. 300ex's are great too if they are total tricked out, but stock 300ex are good for trails. Also there are more parts for blaster and they like to be modded. My old quad was a blaster and now i have a lakota sport. My final answer would be, put new stocks, pipe, and jet the carb and your set!!!
