I do about 80% drag racing. But I tend to ride around some. Trails and just easying my nephews around the house. I havent had any problem other than me getting urges to hammer it. The 46 has been a very good carb. (my opionion).

I heard it was a better drag carb than a trail carb. Something about the slide being sticky off idle.

It can be set up either way. Obviously, setting up for trail and putting around, sacrifices some drag race power (albeit, not much considering the other "drag race" carbs). Might consider the 44mm if idling around is your preference most of the time.

Well I have the 44mm set up buy 222 and love it for both trail, duning and drag racing. I have the dyno chart for both carbs on the same bike with my ct pipe and there is about a 2-3 hp difference between the 44mm and the 46mm.
