Just curious and powerline trails to and is it legal

 

I have some around where I live that I have been on a few times. Seen a sheriff and talked to him, he said it was ok because it was not a state regulated roadway.

 

In NYS...if it is state land and there are no signs that say prohibit quads...then you are good to go assuming you have a registration and liability.

Around where I am...the trail heads are clearly marked as to what type of vehicle is allowed.
