Default "01" raptor 660r parking brake

I was recently having problems that I thought was my carb or no spark but it turned out to be my useless parking brake! Thank god for this forum!! I disconnected the bottom wire that plugs into the clutch, took the clip off and it rips better than it ever did, im impressed! when I first got my bike I was disapointed, I heard how bad the Raptor was and how it was the best bike on the market and most reliable but it had no go, since ive disconnected the parking brake, put new airfilter and adjusted the screw on the throttle box.. Amazing difference the thing gets!! I love it!! ITs the best bike ive owned and Ill stand by it 100% till she proves any different!! What a difference, I can do straight up wheelies thru 3rd gear!! What a blast!! Thanx for the helpfull info guys!!

Those parking brakes are nothing but pure sh*t! The first thing I do with any new quad is take off that damn thing!

As for "I heard how bad the Raptor was and how it was the best bike on the market and most reliable but it had no go" I don't know about that, where did you get this info? The Rappy isn't really known for being the best bike or the most reliable but it sure does have GO! Seems like your info is exatcally the opposite! I'm glad you enjoy the added power though, try doin' a pipe/filter/jetkit THEN you'll be very happy! All in all you gain about 10+ HP from doing that, it's deffinatly worth it! Try widening it next in the rear and you'll notice a BIG handling difference. You can also get a pro-flow kit (needed to take the lid off) and take off the airbox lid for somemore small all around power gains!
