Chain tightening...
#1
Ive done some research on this, but I am going nuts now. First off let me say that anyone in medford oregon do not shop at the yamaha dealer. They have f*cked me for the last time. First they fry my quads with bad switches (brand new 05 raptor 350s) then they sell me a whole bunch of sh*t I dont need and tell me it does stuff it doesnt do, like quick releases for flags, but they arent quick releases. Anyways I have these 2 quads and i get to looking at mine because it is making weird noises. I find that the oil is not even registering on the dipstick, there are loose bolts all over the place and the chain is so loose that it clanks and clunks when riding it. Is there like a 30 day money back guarantee on quads, this is complete bull. All the while my wifes is fine so far. Anyways, to my question. Ive tried and tried to get the bolts off to adjust and tighten the chain and all im doing is rounding the bolt. Anyone have a tip for this. Ive used some wd 40 and another type of loosen nut stuff to no avail. I think the wrench im using is wrong im trying to use a socket in there in between the sprocket. Someone help me end this misery. Thanks!
Oh yea forgot to say i messed with the little 10 or 12 mm bolts that stick out of the back and didnt realize that I probably messed up something real bad. Im boiling atm. 11k I spent on these and they cant get me good service sheesh!
