Default Future value of ATCs?

Hey guys, this is my first post, and I was wondering if you see ATCs growing in value as they get older. I have a 1985 Honda 350x that is just about perfect in every way. I bought it a couple of years ago from the original owner (he was in his 50s). I knew as soon as I saw it that I was taking it home with me. It still has the original brake pads, grips, chains, sprockets, and the original tires were about 75%. All I have done is change the tires (they had several plugs from Texas mesquite), and I pretty much baby it whenever I ride it.

My question is, are ATCs losing value with all of the new 4wheelers hitting the market? I'm getting older myself, and about to start a family, so I am going to eventually buy a new 4x4 (probably Prairie 700). This is my 2nd 350x and it doesn't have much sympathetic value for me (My brother still owns the '86 that we bought together when it was less than a year old). I would like to have something that I'm not afraid to run the wheels off of. This bike is just too nice, what would you do? Sell now, or hang onto it?

Like anything that is old and in near perfect shape
it will only grow in value. If you have the space I would keep
it and use it occasionally. I remember when I first got married
I had to sell my 57 chevy because my dad wanted the garage
space. I new that in a few years it would be worth 15 20 or more
thousand but I sold it for $800. You can Imagine you will feel the
same in a few years when you sold it.
PS
My wife also sold her split window coupe corvette for $1500
before we got married.

MISSED OPPORTUNITIES

I would keep the machine and do everything possible to keep it in mint condition. They have made a 3-wheeler for almost 20 years now and i have been watching the paper and i have noticed that values are trickling upwards around here latley some BIG REDS going for 1500 when they used to be more like 600-800
