First of all, it always seems like its gonna die when I hold the clutch in. I have messed with the turny idle thing and it doesnt seem to do much. When I turn it all the way up it still doesnt idle like I want it to. Am I doin somethin wrong? All Im doin is turnin it all the way counterclockwise to get it all the way up and it still doesnt seem to be idlin very high. It sounds like its gonna die at idle.

Second, someone told me there were sparks flyin behind me when I was goin down the road, is this possible?!?! What the heck?

none of these problems are characteristics of the R...at least not mine.

to be honest with you, i have no clue what the problem maybe because ive never encountered it, but you might try posting this in the Honda forum. This is a more general part of the board that gets steadily more traffic to it. just a suggestion.

Ive tried both ways, clockwise kills it, counterclockwise raises it but after its running for a while it still dies.

Only trys to die when the clutch is in and you are in gear? If so the clutch is shot or way out of adjustment.
Does it 'jerk' or grab when the clucth is in and your in gear?

if it does not idle very well at all it may be the pilot jet. have you changed anything on it or maybe you just bought it?

May be worth taking the carb apart and cleaning it.

No its not the clutch, if i let the rpms drop to much in gear it tries to die. I havent changed a thing, I got it a few days ago

i have a more updated and detailed version of this in the honda forum, its near the bottom of the first page now
