When i start my 250r it revs redline and wont stop until killed or sometimes if you hit the throttle it will idle down and kill.I clened my carb, put in new rings and cleaned everything up.Could this be a Carb problem?PLEASE HELP!!!

 

Check for an air leak. Sounds like its running lean.

 

I pulled my stator cover and noticed that the rubber grommet that goes on the wires was not in the slots so I put it in and put the cover back on. when i started it it blew the rubber grommet right out of the stator cover.I made sure my crankcase breather was unobstructed and it still blew the grommet out.Any possible Answers would be greatly appreciated.

 

Sounds like your crank seal is wasted.

Upon closer inspection of my stator and flywheel I found that I could wiggle the whole crank by grabbing the flywheel so I figure the bearings are probably toasted and so are the seals.Thanks for the input and I'll keep you informed if it works.
