I'd like to ask a favor of one or more of you late model Scrambler owners. My buddy was riding my 04 and hit a ditch unexpected. It was hard enough to throw him clear over the front handlesbars and on the ground (he was fine, so I can say "serves him right!"). Anyway, the metal plate between the two push bars up front is obviously a little bent. But my question is.... the two push bar that come up from the frame below are basically right on the bottom of the radiator, I'm guessing that is how they were from the factory, but wanted someone to look at theirs and tell me if there is supposed to be clearance there, if so, mine is probably bent.

 

04 scramy there should be about a 1/2 inch clearance between the bars and the radiator
