i have a 04 400ex and i just got a kN , i took the airbox lid of cause it sounds alot deeper.doing this doesnt do any thing performance wise does it. and i am looking at a rev box for increasing rpms. i think it is a good mod but would like as many opinions as possible. also i am looking for exhaust for cheap, just the slip on cause im only fourteen and my spending funds are limited. please help

The lid does make it have a little more power. Make sure you jet good and rev box's help too. You need to rejet, you will be running so lean without rejetting that you will lose all top end power and you will be running way too hot, hot enough to fry your motor. Rejet now!
