Default Need help locating loctite #243 & #648?

I trying to finish my new build & can't locate any loctite. I've been to Napa, Pepboys, autozone & O'reilys auto parts with no luck. Everyone is stocking Permatex brand of threadlocker & not loctite brand. Any suggestions? Everything is altogether ready to loctite, torque cams & cam guide.

I thought that they bought loctite out?

Have you tried a Fastenal ? Maybe you don't have those?
ACE hardware? Menards? local John Deere?

you can use Loctites webpage to locate dealers.

Thanks 01ds650 but on permatex website doesn't show any oil resistant medium strength threadlocker like loctite #243 & on loctites website I can't find any loctite #648 that is in the bomb manual. Just my luck that before the Aledo Nationals I can't find what I need to finish the job.
Thanks again 01ds650 for the help. I guess I should have done my home work better before I tried to finish my build @ the last minute. I didn't plan on loctite being a issue building the motor but thats my luck LOL!

Maybe you can email or call Loctite to see if #648 was replaced with another number?

tacookaz thanks for the info!

DollarBillz I'm going to see if I can catch someone in the new Mesquite store. I know there not open yet, but maybe I'll get lucky. The new mesquite store is in the same building as I work just one suite over. I work @ Country Glass & Mirror next door.
Thanks!
Joe
