Default Very suprised YFZ and 450R dynoed numbers!!

I saw these on another site and was quite shocked at what I read. What do you think?

I had a post on here with dyno runs on pipes a while ago. Here is the update.... Pipes Dynoed are as followed.
#1 Big Gun Full race= 41.34 hp. 27 ft torque
#2 Esr full pipe= 40.8 hp. 24 ft of torque
#3 Yosh full ti tri oval= 39.5 hp. 26.3 ft of torque
#4 Alba and HMF full pipe= 39 hp. 27.3 ft of torque
#5 Sparks full pipe= 36.38 hp. 24.22 ft or torque
#6 Gtyr full pipe= 36 hp. 26 ft of torque
Also we dynoed 2 450r today
First one had hrc cam, hrc high compression piston, k&n and full hmf bill balance pipe. Made 37.6 hp. and 25.8 ft of torque.
Second on had sparks full pipe, air filter and cam. Made 36.4 hp. and 25 ft of torque.
As you can see there is only 2hp difference between the top 4 pipes. All these yfz 450's dynoed stock off the show floor at just over 30 hp at the tire. All where tuned with an air fuel meter and all where on stock tires. I know some of you will think these numbers are low but these numbers are realistic and accurate not some sales gimmick with high numbers.

These numbers match up with the place my brother had his dynoed. They used his stock tires and tuned it with a fuel meter and only got 38.7hp with a PP pipe with 12 disk and a CFM airbox with lid on and a 160mj. They said a stock Z only got 27hp and no stock atv was even close to getting 40. Later on in the post it was said dyno tires or slicks can add allmost 7hp to a dyno run. So if you take those slicks off that DW had on there pipe shootout, that would put the 450 just over 30hp just like this guy said all of there stock off the showroom atv's got. For those who want to bad mouth me about these numbers, remember there not mine. You can see them on your YFZ central time.

What suprised me the most was that they were only getting a little over 30hp stock to the wheels.

Power is one thing, being able to put it to the ground and move yourself is another.

Hozed I wouldn't be surprised if someone took a Pred to that dyno that they would get the same/similar results..... We all know how much the manufacturers like to strreeetttccchh the truth.

I think they spin to much. The Razrs just don't grab in most spots. My brother found out the hard way when a Pred gets traction. When he had the stock tires on, he would be able to gun it coming out of a corner. The Razrs would just spin, so he had no problem nailing the throttle. Well the next time out he had his Kenda Klaws on, and on his very first corner he nailed the gas just like he's done many times before with the Razrs, and the Pred came up so fast, bucked him off and did a complete backwards flip without hitting the ground and landed back on all fours. He could not believe what just happened. He said in all the years he's been riding, he has never had a quad suprise him and come up so fast. Now with these tires on, he gets much better traction and his Pred feels a lot more responsive. We ride with a guy with a decked out YFZ, and he can't even come close to keeping up with him. But it could be rider too.
