Default AAEN 400 pipe

Does anyone have any experience with this pipe? high's ? low's? I found one on ebay that you can look at ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43978 )

it just says performance pipe but it doesnt say like top end or torquer.

tell me what you guys think?

I'm looking hard into HPD or AAEN if i can ever find one on ebay , but before November i am going to have one purchases whether its brand new from the site or off EBAY.

I can tell you that AAEN is right up there with HPD. I used to run HPD but then switched to AAEN. I like the finish and the fit of AAEN better. The HPD pipr rubbed the head and just never fit right. Performance from either one is about the same. You cant go wrong with either one.

I have the HPD ceramic pipe from RcR and dont have any problems with fit and finish and it performs very well. I'm happy. No experiance or info on Aaen but have heard good things.

I ran their top end pipe on a 400 before and it pulled just as hard as anything but a race pipe. The pipe had a very loud distinctive "ting ting" from the expansion chamber.

that is aaen's torquer pipe. bubba is right, they have a distinct 2 stroke tingy kind of sound. from what i can tell on my quad it has good low end and on mine particularly it tops out at about 65 but gets there quick. you have to keep them clean or they will start to rust. i sent mine to airborn coatings out of charlotte, nc for a ceramic coating. it's the same thing as jet-hot if you know who they are. only cost me about 85 for the pipe and head flange with shipping it back to me. hope this info helps.

I used to run an Aaen when I had my Scrambler. Like Stumpjumper400, mine had great bottom end power. Excellent woods pipe.
