OK, over the course of riding on the trails, ive hit some big rocks and tree stumps. My front skid is beat to hell..I'm wanting to put new skids on, new belly skid and around the front as well. My question is, is it safe to weld on the frame, like enough for the skids and what material and thickness would you recommend for a heavy duty skid? The only real mods I plan on doing to this are a set of 26" MudLites, skids, a K+N filter possibly, and maybe some brighter headlight bulbs. Thanks for any advice
