Looking at the 400 but wondering if I should go with the LE? I really could care less about the chrome wheels, actually kind of prefer the grey. I wonder mainly about the winch. Is there a real need? I'm thinking its one of those, "you won't need it until you REALLY need it" things.
Would I be better off just going with the regular 400 and putting on a winch and a brush guard($150) and I like the accessory brush guard better as well. I'd be without the rear bumper and wheels???
Anyway kind of rambling but looking for input.

 

If you don't mind spending a little bit of extra money. Go for the LE!

 

You'll need the winch if you don't get it. You won't need it as much if you have it. That's the way it seems to work out!

I have winches on both of my machines, but don't have to use them often. However, that one time you need it, it is worth its weight in gold. I wouldn't want to go into the woods without it. Besides, for $69 bucks, you can't beat it.

 

When you DO get that rig stuck,it's HEAVY!Put the winch on even before you go anywhere.The rear bumper is more important to me but I'm working on the front,just replaced one headlight(86 bucks Cdn.)and the other one is cracked.Darn things are not very tough.Wheels are no big deal to me,but a nice set of c-series would be good.

 

Go for the winch. It's worth it's weight in gold when you need it, and you will need it if you get that 400 stuck riding alone or with a bunch of wimpy sport bikes. Plus it's just cool. The bumpers add a lot of weight to the ATV but if you think that you'll need them then go for the LE. Otherwise just get the standard model and pay 69 bucks for the 2500lb winch deal AC is running.
