A few hours ago I took out the spark arrester just to see how it sounded.....WOW, it sounds really good,( a little loud ) then i rode it around the yard, and it gave a little more power... I was wondering if it would harm the engine any at all leaving it out? would i have to change the jets or anything? all inputs appreciated!!!!

You can do it if you check your jetting and make sure you didn't lean the engine out to much. Then again you are now illegal to ride in the woods or grasslands, as a spark arrestor is required to prevent fires. You know, those hot flamy things, which destroy plant and animal life.

I don't quite understand that statement?

Powercat400, RAPTORYFM66r; Geez guys lighten up, it was only a joke. Back when I raced funny looking boats I didn't take offense at the jokes, which I heard plenty of. I honestly meant no offense, all I meant that the one piece mufflers on the sport utility and utility quads don't have anything removable without major surgery to the muffler.

hehehehe, Its kinda hard for me to lighten up anymore than I already am.
I even have a couple of those one piece utility quads mufflers and sorry it just didn't pop into my head that way.
Slap me up side the head I see now why you worded it that way.
