Stupid fan question.

I cut the wire to the fan and ran a wire straight to the hot on the battery and another to a ground. I put the BLUE wire to hot and BLACK to ground.. The fan did NOT even move.. I assume the fan is dead...
Best place to get a fan.. I looked in the past but the links are dead..

I got my fan from offroad warehouse and I paid a little more but I did also get a waterproof one (just in case it gets splashed or something.) That $61.99 price is VERYappealing though, I've never seen one so cheap.

Take the fan off to test if dead or not. It is VERY easy for the fan shroud to become distorted and bind the fan not allowing it to spin which over time will burn up the motor.
Happened to me and my buddy.

You may notice some shims behind the old fan when you take it off. When you put the new fan on, shim where needed so the fan fits flat. You need to put the shield back on the new fan, so save the screws and spacers and shield before you toss your old fan.
