i just picked up my new ds650 baja and its great. the tires that r on it are crap. whats a good tire that will hook up better?

 

Just about any tire will hook up better than the stockers. But alot of people run holeshot or razors. Might even think about going to a 22inch tire.

 

Once you replace your stock tires, if you'd like someone to 'store' them for ya, let me know [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

I bent a rim with those cheap Ohtsu's. I now have 20" Razr II's and they rock. I don't see a need for 22's the trails. I have 22" ITP SandStar for the sand. Everyone has an opinion.

 

ITP Holeshots. XCT 22's in rear and HD 23's in front work awesome.

Yeah, whats the deal with those tires? I had to replace one yesterday and three tire shops couldn't get it off, took it to a dealer and he didn't want to touch it. I ended up cutting off the rubber and drilled the steel belts off.

 

I have had really good luck with the Raz'r 2's. Great traction and only 1 flat though it was not the tires fault I taco'd the wheel.
