How much less will a dealer go on his "otd" price?
#1
All dealers have an out the door cost. I was just wondering if anyone has offered 2-3 hundred less and got it.

What does his OTD price include? Is the price he's charging OTD-MSRP or has the price already been slashed. Does your dealers OTD price include any fees)I live in PA, I believe some states are different with the charges. "Little more info may get you a little more help"
Not exactly sure what your looking for but in my experience when you go to the dealer. The first OTD price he will quote you is the MSRP+fee for assembly+ fee for destination. Then you usually have to go through the BS of getting him to drop the destination/assembly fees and then drop the MSRP price.
Also different makes and models have different amounts of "profit" that the dealer can play with. If you have an idea of what your interested in you may be able to get some better info.

The price quoted was $5075. On a 2005 Wolverine. I asked him what the bottom dollar out the door cost was. I was assuming this included everything like set up and other misc b.s. I would be picking the bike up as the dealer is only 15 miles away. Is that the delivery fee??? Or do they actually charge to deliver the bike to the dealer from the plant?

Don't know much about pricing on the Wolverines but MSRP is $5199 and I (would think) you could get him to go down some.
They are usually shipped to the dealer in crates. And they try to charge for the delivery and assembly. Most of the time you can get them to drop these fees. All dealers are different.
Also if you find a couple people nice enough to tell you what they paid (OTD) that will give you something to go by. OTD price is exactly what you will be paying for it (fees,or no fees) . (Not including tax and tags.)

Do a search for Abernathy using Yahoo, they are a Honda, Yamaha, and Polaris ATV Dealer. They seems to have the best price in the nation, they list their price online. It should give you a reference point for pricing a new ATV.
Good luck,
