Default Don't work.

I was given false info a while back saying that a cr250 clutch perch will fit a stock 40eex lever but it does not. So I purchased a CR250 lever and it works great! This thing pulls in much smoother and is like half the weight of the stock assembly. Also If you do this your gonna have some excess slack so you'll have to adjust it down at the motor and a lil on the perch. Overall I am very happy, not to mention it looks much better and cleaner.
