i just bought a 2002 400ex it has a full t4 exhaust, k&n filter, and a dial-a-jet. I don't know what the internal carb jets are set at. Where should the settings on the dial-a-jet be and what main and pilot jets should I be running. What setting on the idle/air. I've raced 2-strokes all my life, this is the first four stroke I'e ever tried or needed to jet. any input would be helpful

 

not sure i ever saw the stock jet but seems in the 150 range with dail jet should get you there.

 

here is the stock jetting:

148 keihin mainjet
keihin B44A needle
clip on needle is in the 3rd position from the top
38 pilot jet
2.75 turns out from lightly seated on the fuel screw


i have no idea what to tell you with that dial a jet. i would probably ditch it and buy individual keihin jets if it needs rejetted.
