how do i tell?? wat are the symtoms..my quad starts but it bogs right wen i hit the gas but then it will start to run if u let it bog for a while

do u no if the stock one runs leaner than the iridium one?? cuz i was running one of those iridium ones or wateva and awen i replaced it wit the plug that came stock in mine it started pinging?? maybe i need to go up a heat range on the regular ones like hpd says??

 

It may run hotter. Are they the same plug #'s? I would definately go with what HPD recommends though

 

well i usually run the iridium one and the quad is tuned to that plug theni put the one back in that came wit the bike wen i bought it and it was pinging wit it. but i dont wana be fouling all kinds of those expensive plugs[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]

I just put and ran a iridium plug in mine. Maybe it's just me. But I was able to wheelie a little better. And the muffler sounds meaner. Again. it could just be me.

 

You may need a new jet. I dont know if you read my other message,but I replaced the spark plug and it still bogs and hesitates when it is about half throttle. Some new quads need new jets.
