Default Qs with rappy carb at 2000above sea

I am going to adjust my valves in about 20 minutes, I had a previous post on how my quad wouldn't start unless it was warmed up real good. so someone suggested adjusting valves and it would make it start up cold, my second question is carb settings.

I am at 2000 above sea level, and am curious what carb settings I should be running, I have a dynojet jet kit, and have the needles on the 3rd clip, they told me to put them on the 4th, and it is ridiculous how much gas comes out of the exhaust. 3 turns out on the mixture screws, and stock main jets for now, anything bigger seems to run too rich, I am running with the lid on and the snorkle off, also have a Yoshi slip-on and K&N filter.

Would turning the mixture screws in or out help me get rid of the bottom end bogging and over-all s**tty running?

Thanks.

No, the lid is a must where I ride, lots o fmud and so forth, a friend ran without his lid on his 400ex and had to constantly clean it while riding.

...but none the less, I have it running perfectly now.
