Has anyone heard that the 05' 400EX is getting a update???Ive heard of a reverse gear and updated plastics and mabye liquad cool...anyone else hear this???

 

Patience is the only way to get the true answer here and it's a virtue I do not possess. Does anyone know the EXACT date of the dealer show in Vegas, instead of "sometime in September?"

 

this is what the press got out of honda not too long ago. just note, "seven additional models will also be "announced." could "announced" mean that they dont currently exist- if they did - why would they need to be "announced" ? could it be 7 make overs, or some totally new things? or both?

in addition to a revamped 400ex, there are rumors of a new 650R/EX model, and a new light weight high-performance 250 4x4...could it really be????

we shall see; the convention is next week. i think on the 9th.

 

A very reliable source confirmed MULTIPLE all-new models and updates to existing ones as well as new bikes too. I would strongly bet the 650EX is going to be one of the new models. I can't really see the logic behind the 250 4x4, but I'm definitely not saying it won't happen.

i would buy a liquid cooled conversion kit on a 400ex if it was possible.

 

i agree that they probly going to be a 650ex/r and i can bet you a new monster quad the rincon 750 or something. they wouldn't make a recon 250 4x4 because the only other competition would be AC250 4X4

 

does anybody make a liquid cooled cylinder for the 400ex?

It would be great if they added reverse to the 400ex. Liquid would also be nice. But please, please, please, don't put the 450R's nose on the 400ex.
