i have a 2001 kodiak 4x4 yfm400 that can't pull a string out of a cat's ***.
rode the bike last weekend and ran fine.
went to ride it this weekend and you give it gas and it will hardly go??
if you try to rev the motor in neutral it still won't rev.............
starts and idles fine, just no power.
any help guys.

pulled the carburator apart today and found the choke diaphram had small
slit causing the choke fall down under load.........no wonder it didn't go.

 

Are you running out of gas? Try going to reserve or add some gas.

 

is there any water in ur gas?...there was water in my gas and when i went past 1/4-1/2 throttle it would just kinda bog there...
