I bought my Ds used. It came with an owners manual that reads 2001 DS 650. But on the frame it has a build date of 09/2000. Is this an early 01 model? Do the new models come out in the fall like the cars or is thia still a 00 model? Also if it is a 01 when did they make the changes to make them lighter? Was it 01 or 02?

Any help here would be appreciated.

 

I would say it is an 01.. mine says 11/99 and it is a 2000

 

yea its an 01.
oh and the lighter ones are 04 and up.

 

anything after july is considered the next year on title
