Default wood pipe polisheable?

hi i just got my woods pipe and i was wondering if the slip on was polisheable? cause it's used and it has 2 or 3 lil scratches in it and polishing would certainly make them go away

thanks!

Part of the problem of polishing the woods pipe is the ceramic coating. If the ceramic coating is gone, then polishing it will help keep the rust down. But, if its not rusting now, dont polish it because you are taking off the ceramic coating. Usually, the ceramic coating burns off on the headpipes, which is why you need to polish those.

You can order the pipes without any coating, and nikel plate them yourself - that works pretty good.
