Wow, I guess I never thought it could happen but here we are. Honda producing $7000+ utility quads with drum rear brakes. A 400EX that gained 13lbs, finally offers reverse gear and they up the price by $500, wtf? The 450R didn't receive any changes except for color and it has been sucking hind t1t at MX races and needed improvements.

I grew up with reading about the mighty Team Honda and they won everything. Their 3-wheelers, quads and MX bikes were the best. Their quads arn't anymore. I guess no one can stay at the top forever, and Honda has been there from the beginning but they won't be retaining that title in '05, that's for sure.

 

When Honda owners want to complain about Honda, that's just fine. When a Kawi owner complains about Honda, its just some dumb a$$ making trouble!

What are the alternatives? There isn't a Yamaha I would own, except maybe the YFZ. I already own the only Suzuki I would consider owning (at least until they come out with a 450). That's it! There aren't ANY other bikes made by ANY other manufacutrers, that I would even care to own!

 

Little bit sensitive? It's not like its your fault... loosen up! Fact is, their line up is lacking.

No matter how much you like Honda rockrider is right. Out of all the known 05 line-ups Hondas seems to be the worst. I guess Yamaha is the number 1 right now. At least Yamaha never abandoned the sport quad market like everyone else did in the early 90's.

 

Right or not, what was the point of his post except to make trouble? I don't like the other manufacutrers, but I don't go over to their forums and post crap, just to pi$$ everybody off! We need to shut these posts down the minute they get started.

 

Man you got my vote for being a Mod. this thread is total BS. this kind of crap is why I rarely come here anymore.

 

I'm sure Honda's gonna sell a boat-load of the 05 TRX400's. Honda just released the 450 last year, so the changes will come next year...and maybe the 650?

i do agree their lineup is lacking, but i dont own a honda so w/e. maybe there just taking their time

 

oh well, i get my new honda in 2 days at the earliest...cant wait
