Is it coming from a hard line? or from between the head and cylinder?

its like the gaskets went bad, its leaking from the head and the cylindar. i never opended the engine yet, so i dont understand why it would be the gaskets, its only a few months old

I had a cluth cover gasket go bad all of a sudden too...I think this would be a good time to put in a bigger piston and maybe port it out...you would be looking at $600 with cometic gaskets, porting and a new piston if you did the work yourself

better pull the vave cover and check there first, if you over heated the cam it can cause a leak, usually only if you have run it low on oil or some trash clogged a oil passage.

well, this doesnt sound like a serious problem right, its def loosing oil tho. slowly. i can pin poin the leak, but it appears to be coming out of a crack where the head and cylindar meet. it still runs totally fine.

Mine looks like it is either leaking outta the top port for that external oil line or out of the cover bolts. or outts the cam cover gasket. when i switched to silkolene atv oil it is a lil thinner than yamalube so it was leakin more. always sompin.
