i found a 400ex for $3500. It has nerf bars, new tires,white bro.R4 pipe,bored .40 over w/wiseco 11:1 comp piston, K&N filter and jet kit, dural blue axle, lone star carrier, pro taper bars,& AC bumper. is 3500 a good price?

 

I'd say it is a bit over priced, i would not pay more than 2800 for a 99, even if it was in great condition. I bought my 00, in perfect stock condition for 2500 a few years ago. Even with the mods listed, It's still over priced. See if you can talk him down, If you cant, keep looking, you will find a better deal.

 

with all the new machines that might be a little high.

 

It is just what I have seen, but I wouldn't pay $500 for a 99. It was the first year and seamed to have bugs. I know guys are happy with thier 99's so this is just my experience.

 

$3500 to high for that year. dealers are discounting NEW 04 models in the $4k range now.
