is the 250x a good racer? is it worth putting money into to make it a good track bike?

PPL i cant sell it and buy a bran new 1 so dont bother posting that! I can buy a used 1 though

wat u got done to it, u will prob need suspension adn more in the engine for it to compete

 

it already has engine wise a Cobra Jet full exhaust and vented air box with moose filter

Its a great racer if your wanting to run the sport class or something similiar to that,because in a sport class if you don't know,it is mostly warriors,300ex's,blasters,mojave's racing.300ex's and blasters just about dominate that class and a 250x is just like a 300ex so it would be a great racer after some mods.

 

If you want to put a new engine in it, I would suggest a 250r engine. A 400ex engine may be too much stress on the frame, and a raptor engine would most definately be too much stress. You could also put a 350x(trike) engine in it, and I believe it bolts right in.

 

I have a 250x that does great it is at a dead even tie with the 400ex I put some money into it though like 2500 in the motor and some more in excessories

I would put a 350x motor in it and do some work to it.
