Default gearcases, low range or not.

I am looking for a new gearcase for my '94 400L 4x4.
When looking at used ones how do I know if they have low range or not?

Or maybe someone could tell me what models did or did not have low range?

I will do some more searching then..
I have been given a '94 400L 4x4 that needs the gearcase replaced or rebuilt, and a new magneto.
I also have just bought a '95 Scrambler that needs a new cylinder.
These 2 projects should keep my busy over the winter.
