2005 RUBICON
#4
From Honda's web site;
Features & Benefits
New for 2005
All new SUV styling for a rugged, adventurous look.
All new 180mm front disc brakes with single-piston calipers.
New dual front disc brake calipers feature a patented built-in scraper system to remove mud and snow from inside the front wheel to help prevent build-up of debris between caliper and rim and ensure consistent braking performance.
Brake pads feature thick, long-wearing material with improved mud durability, feel and control. Pads feature internal scraper that gives audible warning when pad life is low.
TraxLok(r) 2WD / 4WD system enables the rider to shift between two-wheel drive and four wheel drive with a simple push of a switch. Quiet operation and smooth engagement are key features of the system.
Newly designed meter assembly for ease of use and high visibility.
New digital fuel gauge is now integrated into meter assembly.
New bodywork-integrated storage compartment.
Integrated carburetor heater capacity increased from 10 to 20 watts for improved cold weather starting.
New, larger 4.2-gallon fuel tank capacity for increased range.
I do believe that is the icing on the cake for the best "all around" ATV built today and without a doubt the best of class.
And all for only $200 more than a 2004. I am looking forward to our new Rubicon.

Not trying to put Honda down or anything, but the Rubicon is just to expensive. For the money you spend on it, you could buy an even bigger ATV for the same price. I have had 3 hondas and still have one, they were all and are all great machines. But like I said, that is just a little to much money.

when i got my rubicon i could of had a 700 kawisaki for the around the same price but the belt turned me away.
im just not sold on them yet.
and the honda had auto and manual and hi low range and thats what i wanted.
Hey pinkmoon.
dreems can come true its called a bank.
most atv dealers have finance places that will give you a loan on one for over 5 years with no money down.
and you can trade in your 450 towords the loan and you would only have to pay maybe 150 a month or less.
or keep it for the little woman.
then when you come home with the new rubicon she might not be so mad.
