My 250x build is going great and i have almost everything i need to finish it. I was looking at a friends 03 400ex tonight and i thought of something that might be nice to have on a 250x or 300ex. I noticed that the 400ex has an external oil cooler in the front. Would there be any benefit to retro fitting an oil cooler from a 400ex to my 250x. Or is it not worth the trouble. I was thinking an advantage would be longer periods of running without worry of gettin to hot. Especially in the middle of summer. Any insight or thoughts would be great.

Also i was wondering if a company makes air shrouds for a 250x or 300ex? All i can find is ones for a 400ex. Also do they make lower a arm guards for 250x and 300ex atvs as well? If anyone can help me out that would be great. thanks

 

Unless your running it the desert the 250x or 300ex doesnt need any extra cooling. I even had a 406 kit and never had a cooling issue.
