A fourstroke with lots of torque is going to be best. The kfx700 would be my pick, but it weighs a heck of a lot for a sport quad, and that can get you into trouble in mud. Raptor would be pretty good, lighter and almost as much torque. Put a set of 25" mud tires on the back and go.

I got an idea, some of them pseudo paddle tires Could throw some major roost and fly through the mud. Dont think regular mud tires will work good though since they arent made to grip good spinning really really fast.

Whatever you do dont let anyone tell you a sport quad cant take mud. '87 hon250r with 20" turftamers made through the night enduro/mudbath known as the pumpkin run. 'Til I threw the chain going over a pile of sticks in a dry section 100 yards from the finish.
