Default Best sport quad for mud ?

My Baja X has won 2wd class at mud bogs totally stock except for replacing the rear tires/wheels with a pair of 24x11 Duro 243's on Douglas wheels. Can't really prove my theory, but I believe heigth of the tire is as important as the type of tread. Try the tallest tire you can get that won't rub anything & I'll bet you'll like the results Reverse is for utilities, so you can back up to what you're going to tow/pull/drag

ElectricShift - yes, to me it does. Sort of depends on who you're riding with & what you're doing I guess. The rodeo I've attended 4 times a year for two years now only has 2 classes for their mud bog, 2wd & 4wd. This year they started to allow the selectable drive machines to run in the 2wd class as long as their 4wd is switched OFF - they do watch to see if the fronts are spinning & I saw at least one get d/q that I don't think was trying to cheat, his just didn't disengage when he switched it off. But the 2wd's with either tall mud tires or paddles usually won anyway

scramblers aren't the worst.....if we are talking stock here, then maybe so......but let us polaris guys work on the motors for a bit, and then that 400 4x4 will tear through any mud!!!! I can see it now.....85hp mud slinger

I would strongly disagree, I'll start taking a camera on our poker rallies and show you, Scramblers definately are the least best.
WRONG,a scrambler is awesome for mud and a few mods and some good tires,it'll keep up or beat any other 4x4 utility.
