It's not he worst, by far! Try a water cooled, where the plug is WAY DOWN IN THERE! I can get mine out pretty easily even using the rinkey wrench that they give you in the tool kit. And, I have a huge IMS desert tank, which makes it even harder than stock, and I can change it in a minute.

 

if i was using a socket thow (don't have rench they give u) du i just stick it in there and turn??

 

A few years ago I bought a used XR400 dirt bike that looked and ran all right. Soon afterwards I realized it really needed a top end job. When I pulled the head and looked at the inside of the combustion chamber I was shocked to see that the plug had been changed when there was a lot of mud down in spark plug hole area and that allowed mud and dirt to fall into motor and prevented plug from fully seating.
So the lesson here is do not remove plug until you are sure the head area is clean. Best thing to do is just install a new plug once a year or so if it needs it or not when all is clean and in your garage. Never run it until it won't start and then change plug out in the mud. You will be sorry.
