I know that this can be done; my question is what modifications are necessary? Has anyone ever done one of these conversions? What year KX 500 motor will fit in the Tecate frame? Any information will be greatly appreciated.

 

if yo get a 85-89 its basically a bolt in job, little fabrication needed

 

Have you had experience with this yourself? What modifications need to be done? Any drilling of holes, cutting or framework?
