Can anyone help me with setting the timing gear/gears and timing chaing on this bayou?
It belongs to a young man in town that has asked for my help. He says motor was redone, top end off, new cam crank etc.... and the first time they alligned everything it would not start, so they thought it was 180 off, so when the went to remove the top gear it pulled off and the shaft it attaches to spun like it was recoiling??? Not sure about all that. Any way jsut looking for alittle direction, thank you.

If you have a library handy, they will usually have a service manual for them. Try the 629 section in nonfiction.
