i was just wondering what kindos mods would you think would be good on a 2001 300ex. i was looking a silencers and i might get a dg but im not shure what one would be good,
i do allot oh really steep hill climbing and i want to mod it for good climber and jumber

dont get dg....... get a supertrapp pipe K&N filter and rejet to start ,,,,, adjust the throttle cable to (instructions in I NEED MORE HORSEPOWER thread)

 

I would go with FMF meagmax or the White Brothers pipe with a rejet and K&N air-filter.

 

I would recommend fuel,oil and a seat full of rider!!!

i'd say leave it stock. Save you a lot of headaches down the road

 

I just sent my supertrapp back to rocky mountain atv. Would NOT fit together correctly. Got a FMF power core IV-2. With the supertrapp I spent the better part of 3 hours trying to get it installed. The FMF took less than 15 minutes. I also got a K&N jet kit and filter. The only thing is it still seems to run lean. The header gets real hot. I have the biggest jet on (128), that came with the kit. I haven't had a chance to pull the plug and look at it though.

 

the first thing to go on mine was the ballon tires and the moped handle bars. Im gettin shocks before I get a pipe because I bottom out more than I find myself needing more power. from what I heard stay away from DG for pipes.
