I remember yamahas Big wheel 200 and 350 bikes.I have ridden the BW350 many years back in sand and it was prety fun,not as fast as a normal tire sized bike but boy did it float on that sand and throw a pretty fat roost.came across a very clean bw350 for sale a couple months ago and brought back some fond memories.Almost bought it.Oh well.

The Fat Cats were fun to ride. The only problem was they did not like mud. The tires gethered mud then bound up the tire to the front forkes and the rear swing arm then they stoped. Just think an ATV that did not like mud. That might be the reason they stoped making them.

My fist bike was a 87' Yamaha big wheel, the BW80, it had the same engine as the PW80. I have also owned the Honda fatcat, same engine as my TRX200SX without reverse. The big wheels did not handel anything like a real dirtbike. I think low sales are the reason to blame.
