Default 350X Rim Flip for extra width

Has anyone reversed the rims on the rear of their trike to inrease track width. I know i would have to add a steel washer to the inside of the rim to keep the lug nuts from biting into the soft aluminum and that the air valve would be on the inside of the wheel now. Anyone done this and what are your experiences and thoughts. It seems it would add stability but is that little bit worth it?

Hunter.

The stock wheels should already be offset out.
You are going to be narrower and damage your wheels.

I was at work when i was thinking about the swap, when i got home i realized exactly what you said. Oops. What does everyone think about axle spacers. Do they add to much stress to the carrier bearings.
