When you put new bars on your bike I have a 300EX. Where do you put the ignition because it is in that plastic piece that coveres the stock bars?

 

When I took the stock bars off my 300EX, I ordered a piece off the old 250X that fit in there just fine. As I recall, it had a place for the neutral light??? I think I relocated the ignition off to the side on the plastic somewhere??? It's been a long time.

The piece of plastic that goes around the tank has room behind it. You need a 1" drill bit to make the hole. Look between the tank and the plastic and see where you want it, and where it will fit mark the spot and the cut open. Reverse and nuetrul light can be but in the same spot, they are harder to see, though.
