which quad is the better one overall? which one has a faster top speed and does the 50cc the kodiak loses against the vinson. or does the kodiak have the same power and speed as the vinson?

 

thats a tough question .they are both very nice bikes.the vinson is bigger physically where the kodiak is smaller and narrowerif your 6feet or taller you will feel cramped on the kodiak.but the kodiak 05 model has IRS and a full locker which is very cool.about the speed im not sure.

 

They both have their good points.
My money would be on the vinny in a race, both quicker and higher top speed.
But when it comes to the tough stuff, the kodiak , with the irs and locking front diff, is going to be top dog.

 

which one do you think could keep up with a sportsman 600twin all around? (driving in open fields through woods,etc.)

 

in tighter woods a kodiak would toast a sp600. its a VERY agile machine. open ground the sp would take it due to bein a big bore vs mid class. as i posted in a diff topic, i never felt cramped on a kodiak, as i am 6'2, and i always felt comfortable.

 

does the kodiak lose any power to the vinny and if so how much-or are they about equal?
