My front .160's Douglas rims are bent
#1
FYI for anyone considering using .160 rims up front. I was changing my rims out last weekend and was suprised to see my front .160's with Sandstars are both bent. When you give them a good spin they are kind of egg shaped and wobble quite a bit. I have had three trips to the dunes on these rims and I have NOT hit any big jumps. I am also running .160s in the rear with my Haulers but they are straight as can be. So the only thing I can figure bent the fronts was pulling wheelies and coming back down hard on the front. I guess the heavy front end of the DS coming down from a wheelie is all it takes.

Unless these rims came already bent from Rocky Mountain, the only thing I can figure that bent them was pulling wheelies. I have not hit anything hard and have not hit any big jumps. I was pretty suprised to see them wobble. Sean let me know what your rims look like.
