clicking noise from right rear suspension/tire area of brute force
#1
I have a clicking noise coming from the right rear suspension area of my brute force, if I press down on the rear rack I can get it to click, or if I take the right rear tire and wiggle it lateraly it will click. Does anyone else have this noise?? All bolts and nuts are tight.

Sounds like you need to change the swing arm bearings... look at NYROCS or KISSOFDEATHS web sites for good info... ( it will be basically the same proceadure as the Prairies...

Newbeetle, that is IRS. No swingarm bearings (unless it is a Brute Force 650, ha ha).
Idahoprairie, you may have a bad wheel bearing, or you may have bad bushings, or you may have a loose spindle nut (but nut), or the clearance between the bearing and the knuckle is loose.

Check some of the other problem area BF posts. Other owners were comparing notes about the left CV boot cracking and causing a clicking noise. Might be the same problem with the CV boot, but on the right side...
