What mod(s) can i put on my 250 ex to beat a blaster or atleast keep up with a blaster?

 

a new motor or a new bike there is no way that 250/230 will ever keep up wit a blaster or a 300ex

 

actually it really shouldnt be that hard to make ur 250ex keep up with a blaster. a new exhaust and air filter will get u started, then u can think about a high comp piston and cam and even a new carb. with all that u wont even have to worry about blasters. not to sure on what parts are made for the 250ex tho i dont see much about them.

 

My friend has a blaster with a pipe and I have no problem keepind up with him, get a pipe , jet kit and a kn filter and you should have no problems, and if you really want to show him what the 250ex can do get a powroll big bore kit and some wheel spacers to keep your quad stable, wheel spacers make a huge difference.

 

dont wanna seem like a yamaha loyal jerk but yes you could do some work and keep up with a blaster but if the blaster also has work...

also how close are you guys who live in mass to boston. just wonderin because i live in mansfield mass and i could always use another riding buddy[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

YOU WILL PROLLY HAVE TO GET A WHOLE NEW QUAD BECAUSE THE AMOUNT OF MONEY YOULL SPEND TO MAKE THAT FASTER YOU CAN BUY A NEW QUADFOR THE SAME AMOUNT.

I'd just try for a new quad, you're bound to outgrow a 250ex quickly.

 

boar it out to a 300 get a bigger makuni carb
